Colorado seeks
Spaceport Designation at Front Range Airport.
Colorado is pursuing Federal Aviation Administration designation for a spaceport, with Adams County’s Front Range Airport as the likely site for the facility.  The announcement was made by Governor John Hickenlooper at the Colorado Space Business Roundup on n December 7, 2011. The facility would allow for tourism, travel and cargo transport to space and from point to point on Earth.

Adams County Lands
$300 Million GE/PrimeStar Solar Project

PrimeStar Solar, a division of General Electric (GE) announced that it has selected Adams County as the site of its new thin film solar manufacturing facility.  The company will invest up to $300 million in the project and add 355 new jobs to the county.

The Director of Investor & Community Relations is a highly-visible, professional member of the ACED team and represents ACED to a broad and diverse group of constituents and audiences.  The Director is primarily responsible for retention, recruitment and development of private sector members.  The Director serves as the agency’s point person for marketing, public relations, and events.  Public policy, special projects and support of traditional economic development duties are expected as time and agency workload dictates.
