Why invest in ACED?

Adams County Economic Development (ACED) is a 501(c)(6) private, nonprofit, full-service economic development agency serving Adams County, its ten municipalities, more than 8,100 businesses and more than 445,000 residents.

The Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG) forecasts Adams County to be the fastest growing county in Colorado for the next 20 years.

ACED is dedicated to playing a leadership role in aggressively driving economic vitality and sustainable business development in the region.

We are funded by the county, nine municipalities and private businesses.  Through this dynamic partnership with our members, ACED stays informed and engaged, aggressively promoting opportunities for economic and business development.

  • Business retention-monitoring of existing primary businesses in order to assure a sustained , healthy business environment
  • Immediate access to participate with career exploration and workforce development through ACED
  • Enterprise Zone Administration-act as an agent for the state of Colorado in administering the regional Enterprise Zone for Adams County

ACED Membership Details

Primary Business Executives

Primary Business Executives are Adams County’s primary business owners/C-level executives and stakeholders who have an influential voice towards the economic growth of the county.

  • Executive Round Tables Six networking luncheons for primary business owners/C-level executives only, including a short feature presentation
  • Executive Welcomes* four business after hours receptions to meet and network with primary executives in Adams County. Introduction and overview of the host and sponsor’s businesses. Excellent networking
  • Investor Relations Taskforce – assist ACED with Investor development, engagement value proposition, program offerings and focus

Board of Directors
ACED is governed by the Board of Directors, which is comprised of influential public and private sector leaders. The primary responsibility of the Board of Directors is to inform, plan, and direct ACED’s programs by electing the Executive Committee, vote on the annual budget and work plan as well as ACED policies and positions. There are five Board of Directors meetings annually (two times with the Gold investors) where they perform these primary functions and receive relevant and timely information from dynamic speakers.

Gold Investors are an influential group of businesses and leaders who annually invest $5,000.  They also offer their expertise and support at ACED’s taskforce meetings as well as two Board of Directors meetings.
