ACED Shovel-Ready Database
ACED’s Shovel-Ready Database helps communities and companies identify Adams County sites that can be developed quickly. Sites designated by ACED as “shovel-ready” are:
- Available for sale or lease immediately
- Approved and zoned commercial or industrial
- Ready to develop with utilities and other infrastructure in place.
Shovel-Ready preparation creates a site where construction can begin rapidly, once a prospective business decides to develop a facility there.
Reducing the time it takes a company to begin construction of a new facility, provides valuable savings to the business and job opportunities for local residents.
Goodwill Industries of Denver seeks to reverse the cycle of poverty through career development and education in Adams County. Its highly successful career development program assists adults and their families get on the path to success. Each year Goodwill helps over 4,500 adults who are on government assistance get the job training they need to get off of welfare by getting participants a job... helping them find a better job... and eventually find a meaningful career.
