Denver International Airport(DIA)
Denver International Airport (DIA) is the fifth busiest airport in theNorth Americaand the 10th busiest worldwide. It is the only major airport to be constructed in theUnited Statesin the last 25 years. Direct air service is provided to more than 140 national and international destinations, including 19 international locations including destinations inEurope,Canada,Mexico, andCentral America. Domestic flight times fromDenverto the West Coast are about 2 to 2-1/2 hours, and to the East Coast about 3 to 3-1/2 hours.

FasTracks
The FasTracks Program is a multi-billion dollar comprehensive transit expansion plan to build 122 miles of new commuter rail and light rail, 18 miles of bus rapid transit, 21,000 new parking spaces at light rail and bus stations, and enhance bus service for easy, convenient bus/rail connections across the eight-county regional transportation district. FastTracks will serveAdamsCountyresidents on the East, Gold, I-225, North Metro, Northwest, and the U.S. 36BRTcorridors.

Front RangeAirport
Conveniently located just six miles southeast of Denver International Airport (DEN), Front Range Airport (FTG) offers the convenience and benefits of a general aviation airport with quick door-to-door access to national and international passenger service at DIA. Front Rangeis easily accessed from I-70, E-470 and 56th Avenue.
With 3,360 acres of land protected by an Aviation Influence Zone,Front RangeAirportis the only general aviation airport in metroDenverwithout nearby residential encroachment. The tallest general aviation Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) in North American has been operational at Front Range Airport since June 2005. The airport’s runway configurations and future development plans are designed to be compatible with nearby Denver International Airport to ensure the future growth.
In addition to being the only airport in theDenvermetro area located in a state designated Enterprise Zone,Front Rangealso is in an Aviation Development Zone (ADZ). The ADZ designation makes aviation manufacturing businesses located within the Zone eligible for state income tax credits of $1,200 per new employee.
Rail Service
There are 13 freight railroads operating over 3,593 miles of track inColorado. BNSF and Union Pacific dominate with 84% of total track miles or 1,206 miles and 1,799 miles respectively. Over 145 million tons of freight is carried via railroads annually inColoradowith approximately 37 million tons originating in the state, 29 million tons terminating here and the remainder passing through.

More than 300 motor freight companies provide trucking services inAdamsCounty. An extremely competitive trucking market exists inDenverwith very favorable and negotiable backhaul rates. Trucking time to the West Coast is 2–3 days, to the South is 3–4 days, and to the East is 2–3 days.
