ACED members learned about a pioneering Adams County company during an Industry Tour of Fiore & Sons, Inc. on June 20.
Also an ACED member, Fiore & Sons is a pioneering, heavy civil contractor with nearly 300 employees, 300 pieces of equipment, and a collection of awards for safety and service.
The Fiore Family likes to say, “we do construction down to the ground and from the ground down.” Its services include civil construction management, earthwork, demolition, site utilities, structural excavation, trucking, overlot, finish grading, and environmental projects.
In 2018, Fiore moved its corporate office to the former ‘Home of Wonder Bread’ site, a legacy property in the Welby area. Fiore completely refurbished the space to accommodate its growing staff.
The company has successfully completed many major projects in Adams County, including the Amazon Fulfillment Center and the Denver Premium Outlets in Thornton.
Fiore uses Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) as a vital tool in its site surveying process. Its UAV experts put a drone to use by taking an awesome photo of ACED members after the tour!
